Even though the reboot films have been very enjoyable, they do fall into the trap of riding the line between the Bay films and a new continuity. This film intrigues me so much more because not only is it more self contained, but doesn't have the baggage of trying to live up to another universe like the previous two films tried to do.

They should have a quick recap or just ended their battle against their makers the QUINTESSON and driven them off planet Cybertron or let it be where Megatron popularity takes off from being a Gladiator to rising up and then them being driven off planet. I do agree with having Peter Cullen do the voice when he becomes Optimus Prime, that would be great for the fans and to honor Mr. Cullen himself.

Im excited for this film for a couple reason. Hopefully no mention of Earth or anything to do with humans, comic book inspiration, and a cast of characters that aren’t just random transformer names picked out of a hat and assigned to a vehicle. Honestly I am slightly concerned about this film coming out so soon after ROTB though, so that will be something to keep in the back of our minds as the film rolls out

Tbh Alfonzo i think its best not to set expectations. The producers dont care about story they just want to sell toys. Airrazor would have been the only maximal that showed up in present time and nothing would change for RotB. They dont respect these characters and just want to sell toys. You ever realize why Travis Knight left the franchise? Its not just bc he was "busy" - Lorenzo wanted a different aproach and that aproach was RotB which was almost as souless as the Bay movies without Primal and Airrazor.

I would love to see Peter Cullen do the voice of Optimus Prime at least at the end of the movie doing his famous speech and I am hoping that they add least some titans in the movie as well and bring out the characters to live on how it all begin and what led to the great war between different fractions and please Hasbro no more micguffins in the movie just a plain on story or origin of each character and Alfonso you are doing a outstanding job and reviews and videos so keep up the outstanding work and you have a wonderful and blessed day Until all our one

As long as the origin of Prime and Elita are accurate to their origin in G1 (them being killed and rebuilt by Alpha Trion) then I think it will be great. Would also love if the aerial bots maybe had a cameo or Easter egg ( we see prime / elitas origin from their pov in G1 cause the fell into a decepticon Time Machine

I want them to evolve this franchise to more than just a "massive high budget advertising" for their toys. Thats always what transformers has been known for. A little childrens franchise. Well we all know no kid would rather pay 35 bucks for a deluxe figure smaller than their index finger nowadays than to buy vbucks. They need to be faithful and keep in mind continuity for future projects. I dont got much faith on it though bc of Lorenzo who doesnt have a single clue whats goin on in his franchise. That mf was really saying the Bayverse is somehow connected to the bay films.

Now I really like the idea that Peter showing up maybe at the end of the movie reprising his role. But I would really like and I would really hope that Transformers 1 is successful enough to make more sequels. Because to be honest I would love to see some Transformers movies that takes place on Cybertron. And yes if they did have sequels they would probably have to use Chris Hemsworth as prime. But something I do think would be pretty cool for a role for Peter Cullen what if he voiced Primus the God of all Transformers. hear me out I know some people didn't like the fact that Chris Pratt was Mario but but something I did like what the movie did was they made Charles Martinet voice a couple of characters in the the movie. Like I know he voiced this guy that was playing video games in a restaurant and he also showed up at the end of the movie but most importantly he voiced Mario's dad. So maybe if Peter Cullen can't be Optimus Prime maybe he could be the voice of Primus. Maybe there could be a scene where Peter Collin's Primus talks to Chris hemsworth's Optimus Prime.
