Totally agree with the takes made in this review. Megatron's turn felt really rushed and we didnt get to properly understand or possibly even emphasise with his 'why'. But what stood out to me was how underdeveloped / underwhelming Starscream, Shockwave and Soundwave were, especially considering how infuential/powerful they were in tf lore, even before the war on cybertron broke out. But then again, this is for a much younger target audience, so im not gonna complain. This is already leaps and bounds better in the right direction for the franchise and I cant wait to see what the rest of the trilogy has in-store.

I agree, that was the one little part that made me frustrated, i can only imagine what a little more runtime would've done for the character and the story, could've been way better. But then again, other than that I'm so grateful for this movie. It was great and it gave us the "full cybertron no human" movie that the fans needed.
