No, it’s mainly because the film is very generic and predictable. It doesn’t have any flair or real effort put into it. It’s meh at best from a writing perspective. Bayformers isn’t that good either, but comparing the two movies you can easily see what bayformers did better vs ROTB which failed.

@@LiamDyC The whole Bayverse was the complete opposite of G1 and everybody was fine with it. If it weren’t for the tragic abomination after the second film we would’ve been fine with this new idea of transformers. Im an 04 kid so obviously I grew up with the Bayverse films and it wasn’t until after those movies did I check out the 80s G1 Movie and cartoons and wondered, “why didn’t we get this instead for live action?”. Bumblebee is appreciated by TRUE transformers fans because it respects what transformers was from the start and is what many have wanted to see. It’s not that the Bay designs were bad they were sick but I can’t help but think it’s all fanmade💀

I get chills every time I re-watch this part, there's so much talk about in just a few minutes, seeing 2 generations of Transformers, Autobots and Maximals, standing and fighting side by side just leaves me feeling both happy and shocked in awe, and then going all out with the soundtrack which is great btw, and that Beast Wars nostalgia of the Maximals saying "Maximise!" and looking badass as well. I'm still in complete surprise that we have different factions in this movie. I really hope for the sequel we get the Predacons, because you can't have Maximals without those guys. Just think, if this is how big the Maximals are, imagine what the Predacons will look like, Beast wars Megatron would be tall asf.

I saw this on June 7, 2023 in Atlanta, me, my dad, and the whole crowd were loving it. The jokes were funny, the characther interactions were awesome, scourge was an amazing villian, and Optimus’ arc was cool and clever. I also didn’t expect the maximize scene, but I did know about Bumblebee’s resurrection, but it seems like no one else knew, or maybe just kinda thought that they would, and they did, and boy did we go CRAZY. Also I remember when the post credit scene played, the guy sitting to my right said “Well that just blew my f**king mind” I saw that coming though, because I was scrolling through Wikipedia and unfortunately I saw that at the end of the plot.
