Let’s not forget to mention that the sheer size of the Autobots weapons, let alone Crosshairs duel “smg” blasters, would be likely louder than what we as humans are used to. While I wouldn’t put it past anyone to wonder where the shot came from, I would’ve thought those guards would’ve reacted with a sudden jump or two considering how close they were to Crosshairs Hail Mary shooting into the air warning before the Autobots stormed the lab.

To be clear, neither Age of Extinction nor The Last Knight were good films, but that doesn't mean they were totally unsalvageable. The characters are criminally underrated, in my opinion, and I would love to see more of Nitro Zeus, Barricade, AoE Hound, Drift, and Crosshairs given another opportunity to shine.

@@Elysium4 Age of Extinction definitely had potential. But the way Last Knight was made, I gotta admit, made it unsalvageable. The people behind the film didn't read the room at all. They only saw the money AoE made. Last Knight is rife with sequel bait for movies that will never come out. They wanted to make a cinematic universe that died the moment they made Last Knight, and for that, I think it's unsalvageable. Even the characters were sidelined in TLK. Drift and Hound are there for like 2 minutes, and the Decepticons shown in the Suicide Squad ripoff die faster than it took for the character montage to show them off.

My biggest gripe with The Last Knight is that it had a dozen potentially good ideas that were wasted because they didn't actually think how they would all mesh together. I like the concept of Quintessa controlling the dead husk of Cybertron, I like Autobots fighting in WW2, I like Cybertronian Knights assisting King Arthur. But together? The movie was a complete mess. Too much of a good thing no longer is a good thing, which is where the production poison began. It's why I'd love to see these ideas recycled separately in different places where they'll actually get a chance to shine, devoid of what made The Last Knight so much of a mess.

I won't lie, between the farm parts and the Hong Kong battle parts, the middle part of the movie was actually bearable because we actually spent more time with the Transformers, and while they range from stereotypical badass, asshole or whatever, they're still kind of endearing as characters Crosshairs sticks out because of this, he's just really fun to watch
