I feel like Sparky's sacrifice was not just for filler purposes or fix a plot hole. The Matrix is powered by wisdom, which Sparky has from his Vietnam experiences. These are sufficient to fill the Matrix. The scene pays good respects to Sparky, and Optimus similarly would've done the same in his position.

Honestly Prime seeing Sparky's memories makes complete sense. The Matrix has the collective wisdom of the primes and in many different iterations of the matrix, it holds their sparks and memories. Sparky merged with the Matrix, refueling it with his own wisdom and sacrificing himself in the process. Now that Sparky is merged with the Matrix, Optimus would start seeing his memories. Now this could be more of a side effect of Sparky beinf a human considering this doesn't happen with Cybertronians who merge with the Matrix.

I really don’t get why it seems every new writer now tries to make her a dislikable character who only causes problems. Elita One should be a capable leader just like Optimus but more emotionally driven, not in a stupid way, kind of like in the G1 cartoon. I think it would be cool if maybe she could be shown as an actually decent leader who could be a potential fill in if Optimus is out of commission or busy with something else.

One thing I like about Skybound is how the Transformers are more fragile than in other media, even though they are made of a resistant material, they get seriously hurt or lose limbs with a shot or a strong punch, look at the case of Optimus, the poor guy just suffered from beginning to end hahaha.

I love the underlying tone of desperation in the series. Everybody's running on fumes, dealing with tons of slag, and hurt for all parties involved. Meanwhile Cobra Commander is vibing with energon, Duke is holding himself back from slugging Hawk in the face, Scarlet's off being an IRL ninja Red Sonja, Destro is making bank, and Cobra-la is off to give Cybertron yet another thing to worry about.

I got a side with Alita, one if you are an Autobot and you have been fighting on Cybertron for millions of years and you are part of the Autobots that got left behind. You're going to hold some hard feelings towards Optimus, primarily for the fact that they have done nothing for a long time because they were offline. So I can understand why Aalita wouldn't give a shit about Earth

My theory on optimus primes arm i think its like the symbiote spiderman story prime gets addicted to the arm and the arm eventually liquidates and turns into a venom like structure whoch infuses with dark energo. Giving us nemesis prime and after that megatron digs up a grave of a orime and gets himself another am optimus and Megatron have to team up to defeat this nemises prime

So to me this series looks like it runs off a version of G1 logic where as long as you have the resources, you can rebuild any cybertronian PROVIDED there's still enough body left to do so So I don't think most of the deaths here (aside from like Reflector he's fucked lol) are permanent, but rather the lack of resources available to both sides is what causes the stakes to be so high

I'd love to find the Transformers I'd like such as MP and other beyond mainline stuff in the wild in the UK. I do nearly all of my Transformers shopping online and Im just used to it now. If they also did other collector lines like NECA Turtles I'd be happy to be able to go look at them and decide with them in my hand. Pulse UK is hard work as well, as a lot of stuff I still have to get elsewhere if it isn't an exclusive... and they never stock enough of those. My preorder for Straxus on Pulse disappeared and then when I noticed, he was sold out and no chance now except for secondary market. When you collect a line like that it's annoying when it's not your fault that you didn't get it. The new version of that site is terrible.

Void Rivals started alow, but it is exceptional and the 12th issue was ovf the hook with the cliffhanger it left on. Advice is watch G1 Season 2 The Gambler, Season 3 Five Faces of Darkness Part 1, and then Part 4 for refreshing the mind. There may be other deep cuts that I have forgotten that benefit from refreshers, but that is all I can think of without going back to the books. If you are going to read Destro, watch Season 2 episore The Girl Who Loved Powerglide first. Duke and Scarlett are predictably awful as all GI joe tends to be... but the bad guy Joe stuff is a bit better as Destro is ok and Cobra Commander was awesome. I sent a really honest review to the GI Joe letters page. I doubt they will publish it as I didn't hold back on how bad Duke and Scarlett have been and how Destro is on the edge of being just as bad.

Also due to the fact of her earlier interaction with Arcee being pretty negative and leaving behind both Jazz and Cliff. Basically a mixture of her giving off bad impression to several readers led to the hate towards her actions about draining Earth for Cybertron.

she has had to endure a lot of shit, as all of our characters have. I think this series thus far has been about the manner in which characters deal with trauma, its the consistent through line through all Major characters say for Shockwave, and how each character is almost represents different aspects of the cycles of grief, Elita kinda fits into the denial, anger, and bargaining stages, Optimus feels hes sitting at the depression/acceptance stages, he feels that heavy burden of surviving, Cliff at the acceptance stage, both of human characters Carley and Spike going through it, and I think thats whats making this series so interesting imo.
