Windows are painted on and has better hinges on the 2 parts that connect the gas tank panels to the rear of prime on ss44

The windows are also cast in solid plastic and painted over, compared to the previous version's translucent blue. But yeah, very minimal changes. You can also peg the small gun onto the feet in vehicle mode.

1. SS44 has solid blue plastic painted over in silver for the windows and truck grille (yet the tabs on the grille are STILL stupidly easy to break). 2. I take it you don't recall the Hunt for the Decepticons Voyager class Battle Blade Optimus Prime mold??? That's a pretty complex figure, heralded as the RotF Leader class mold downsized to Voyager. Now THAT'S a transformation that's no fun. Only Movie Optimus figure I can think of that's worse in that regard is MPM4 and all its KOs.

The Voyager retool irritates me. They should have engineered the flight deck / Jetfire to combine with the original studio series figure rather than retooling a few bits, necessitating a whole extra figure being purchased by those of us who got the initial release. Also should have had the hook weapons. Just feels like an EA with Battlefront 2 move to me....

This would have to be the trailer Optimus Prime was seen with in Dark of the Moon. I thought it was a Revenge of the Fallen Optimus figure, because of the Jetfire parts, that give him flight capabilities

If you think about it in the 2nd movie Jetfire dies so Optimus can fly then in the 3rd movie optimus's trailer turns into a jetpack and a weapons platform meaning the took a dead former deception and re built him into a triple changing sparkles thing and then in the 4 and 5 movie Optimus has thrusters in his feet meaning HE HAD JETFIRE BUILT INTO HIM

There's so many design cues that are off on this thing. How come the Voyager movie Primes always look so unlike the on-screen design? The ROTF Prime/DOTM Prime is as close to a perfect on-screen representation as you can get aside from the MPM figure. They should've just kept reusing that figure.

I skipped one of the Studio Series Primes once before, and....while I like the aesthetic.....I’m getting ROTF Leader Prime flashbacks watching you transform the robot, and while I like that figure too, I’ve long since gotten used to the relative simplicity of the Prime Wars and now Siege lines-it’s nice to not have to worry about origami when transforming a figure lol. I’m gonna have to give this one some thought.

SS Optimus Prime can wield the sword (has wrist swivels), but his forearms don't have 5mm ports to accommodate the shield. TLK Voyager Prime can't use the jet-pack (it won't fit).

Nice figure for a really senseless movie... Bay's transformers were just unnecessary, so is this arc thing... Optimus is cool, but this headsculpt is just bad, It's accurated to the movie, that's why is bad, actually. I would never buy this figure, but i gotta admire the cleaverness of the engineering and sculpting.
