I remember being a kid and watching DOTM opening day, unforgettable experience. Also that line “time to find out”. Always sent chills down my spine. Sure the bay movies may have not been that great in retrospect but DOTM was probably the best way to top of the og trilogy

I love this redesigned look for Optimus in Dark Of The Moon. The fact that he actually looked like he had ab muscles and such an amazing assortment of weaponry was astonishing. I can't be the only person who thinks that his energon ax looked like a batarang with a handle, though.

They should re-engineer the ss and make it a little bigger. Actually have the proper wheel placement in bot mode with the front wheel well on the legs. That, the smoke stacks, and his back are my biggest issues with the ss.

Literally the only reason I've considered getting the SS is Jetfire and the trailer. Not saying it's a bad figure. But they had it down like 10 years ago.

Yeah, a bigger and improved SS Optimus would be great, love the RotF/DotM but the mold is a bit too small for my taste, hope they don't mess up the SS AoE/TLK Optimus since the SS TLK Hot Rod reveal I have high expectations.

This figure is easily my second favorite SS Optimus Prime so far-the first going to the BB movie Optimus, though pending on the ROTB Optimus SS figure, positions could change. My one main gripe with this figure-more specifically the mold-is that those two grill pieces do not like to tab all the way into arms when in truck mode. I can connect the two grill pieces together, but when I try to push them in to tab onto the nose of the truck, not only do they pop out from the tabs, but the two grill pieces end up splitting apart in doing so. Honestly, I think Hasbro should have designed the tabs for where the grill pieces plug into to be sturdy clips. The tabs that are in place now do not even hold on to the grill pieces. I don’t know if it’s because the tabbing ports in the grill pieces are slightly wider than the tabs, if it’s because those grill pieces don’t automatically line up straight when you bring them in, or if it’s because the grills themselves push against each other so much that they can’t be tabbed in when they’re connected. Either way, it’s pretty annoying, especially when it seems most people have this issue as well. But other than that rant, this is a solid Optimus figure.

I just received the SS Fallen, Crosshairs, and Thunsercracker in the mail yesterday. I have to say, all three are amazing. Hasbro has really stepped up their game. I am very excited to see what they come up with next. (Devcon and Payload repaint please!)

I got the original release of SS DOTM Optimus back 2019 although I ended up switching up the pecs most recently from the previous retool (the SS 07 Movie Version.) I hope Hasbro does a re-release of Sentinel under the Buzzworthy banner because he was very hard to find! I never saw him on any shelves for his initial run!

@3:43 the knuckle duster! Love it. @8:39 What a satisfying tab in. The annular ring is such a great accessory. Every great warrior needs a weapons rack. I think it would be better if the base figure had more painted detail on it, but the sculpt with 6-pack is excellent.

I had this dude, I tried to detach jet fires parts from him and when I got to the back part, when I was sliding off the back pack it broke, I was so pissed and I still am about it. He is my favorite studio series Optimus I had ever bought. And now it is insanely priced which pisses me off even more that I know my mom won’t buy it for me again. The price is outrageous.

Ya my Jetfire broke while transforming it back to robot mode but not at the weak joint on the back (though that is cracking) but the mushroom peg socket at the lower leg I'm guessing its due to transformation stress but now all I have holding that joint together is super glue so I haven't transformed him since.

At 7:49 in the video, it shows the track mode but it’s completely different than the actual truck for the studio series. Figure because the truck shown at that time just had blue and flames in the actual one had blue and yellow flames.

I truly gigantic fan of Jet Wing Optimus Prime from Transformers Dark of the Moon, such as badass 🤩! I love the scene where Jet Wing Optimus Prime face off and kill the Driller and i also love the scene where Optimus Prime slash all Decepticon army 🪖, including punch 👊 the Shockwave's face and kill the Shockwave and using Shockwave's big cannon to destroy one of the Pillar in Transformers Dark of the Moon, this figure bring me a lot of memories 🥲. I glad Hasbro and Takara Tomy do reissue like this figure, that's mean i have opportunity to get Jet Wing Optimus Prime before sell out 😊. Missed out on the og version of this, but I might be tempted to pick this up. I'm not typically a Bayverse collector, but that certainly doesn't mean I don't love the Bay Transformers films. Dark of the Moon was probably one of my favorite if not my favorite Transformers movie, and since I already have studio series Age of extinction Grimlock and Bumblee B-127 from the Buzzworthy series, I think it would be cool to have all three of the main autobots from the movies.
