'86 Springer has a second position for the neck ball-joint. Push his head back and it should pop into position with much greater range of motion. Hope I've explained properly.

Just tried it. The head popped off the ball joint, but I just put it right back on, & it works like how you described.

Always found it strange that people hated on this figure just because it was a partial. The siege figure is fun, why reinvent the entire mold for this? Great review as always

@DeltaTrion I think the main problem people have is the price being raised kinda drastically for how much retooling there is, its a bit of a lose lose situation when that happens because both the "where is my money going" and the "this is where my money went" arguments are difficult to counteract when the budget is applied to a whole range of figures rather than an individual one

@ thank you for bringing this up. I see so many people not understanding that lines and waves have budgets, and that that budget needs to be stretched between figures sometimes.

Think we've had the exact opposite experience. My Siege Springer (actually the Wreck and Rule one) was a complete QC nightmare, making me despise transforming and posing him. Conversely, SS86 Springer is pretty perfect, with no glaring QC issues, and is easily one of my favourite releases of the year. Hate the QC lottery! I may have won with Springer, but my SS86 Swoop is a bit of a disaster.

@bobstransformersreviews9058 I'd say you got the better end of the stick in that case tbf, between swoop and springer, I think the more complicated figure needs the better qc

@MrLoubat yeah, super happy with Springer. It's just Swoops right hip ratchet on mine. No ratchet and very loosie-goosie. He'll be in pterodactyl mode most often, so it's no biggie.

@bobstransformersreviews9058 hip ratchets are a rough one, alot of my ratches across my copies of the 86 dinobots are basically non existent, most of all with sludge but with grimlock and snarl too
