Man… Studio Series, what has happened to you? It’s interesting seeing everyone almost collectively agree this newest wave is genuinely bad, but it’s also a shame when you remember how great the line used to be. 😕

How is it genuinely bad? skywarp is accurate, springer seems to just be springer, and I’d say that the decepticon is the only bad one (by today’s standards).

@@Megajaybreaker4 Ehhh. Some individually are alright but as a collective set of reveals it’s not very impressive at all imo. Skywarp’s perfectly okay but we’ve been getting so many Seekers back-to-back it just isn’t that exciting. There’s also small weird decisions like the cockpit being opaque, but again that’s just a minor thing and not really offensive. Springer is Springer but he’s also now 55 dollars instead of 30 to account for a bunch of useless random accessories. He looks cool but not for Leader price. 86 Bee’s roof is completely wrong because it’s going to be retooled into Bumper down the line, so his vehicle looks really poorly matched and disproportionate. Steeljaw barely has any articulation or paint despite being a $10-12 Core. Mohawk, Tasmania Kid, and even pack-in cassettes like Eject look way better.

I get why people have issues with this Gamer Edition line. Maybe I’m in the minority, but I’d rather have these new releases than nothing at all. Especially considering we’re about to get some characters in the future that never got toys made during the original toy line back in the day.

It's understandable, Barricade and Shockwave are just too hot, it's hard to ignore btw, ya think they'll make a figure of the autobot car soldier? If so do ya think he'll get a whole new model or just be another retool? And even more so, do ya think they'll release 4 packs of these AI soldiers with the alternate color schemes seen in the game?

I think they will reuse the sideswipe model, since they used the bareicade mold unfortunately, if one day there is an autobot soldier figure I hope it will be a unique mold and with a fall of cybertron design

You know, considering that he is based off of the standard soldier, his extra kibble makes him look a little bit more like the Machine Gunner, at least to me. which I don't mind at all! I prefer the Machine Gunner's look anyway! but it's a real dang shame that this guy barely has ANY color on him! if this guy's deco job was touched up more, I would accept this as a decent figure!

I got him for 20 at target. You didnt even mention you have to take his whole arm off and put the gun in place of it, and there's nowhere to store the arm

Yeah, I ain’t picking this up at all. The amount of laziness that Hasbro put into this just confirms that they do not care about this line. When you only have at least 2-3 GOOD figures out of a line dedicated to the best series of Transformers, it’s a damned shame. Why can’t Hasbro go back to their BAYSICS & finish/ rerelease Studio series figures from the BayVerse?

I actually don't have a problem with this figure in terms of it's purpose and yes I do believe it could handle better but for a troop builder it's good not great or had just good definitely not the figure of the year material by any means but probably in the top 20 of my favorite figures of this year .

I hate to say it, because I was beyond happy when I first heard we were getting WFC/FOC figures, but the way Hasbro has treated this line is honestly incredibly disrespectful to not just the loyal fans, but the developers of the games. There's so much love surrounding WFC and FOC, from both developers and fans, but Hasbro are butchering them and there's no reason for it. Why is a figure of a cut, C list concept character, such as Sunstreaker so much better quality than fully fleshed out A list characters like Bumblebee and Barricade from games that people played for years? Hasbro can do better, but for some reason they don't care to. Frankly they're losing money because I've seen all the Gamer Edition figures other than Optimus go on clearance in every store, online and physical. This line just isn't doing the games justice. Hasbro will see the poor sales of these figures and assume there's no demand or interest in games, which couldn't be further from the truth.

I’m very disappointed in the current state of the studio series line. It use to be strictly live action movie characters but now it’s a jumbled mess of multiple toy line crammed into one, almost pushing aside the movie characters all together. Plus it’s also not because there aren’t anymore characters to do. There are still a few left and even then they can pull from the dozens of concept arts of characters that didn’t make it into the films. I thought there were rumours of a SS Breakaway or the infamous Devcon figure. What happened to that?

Hasbro is falling off with Studio Series, They have forgotten their statement on why studio series was even created. It is supposed to be Movie or Show accurate, Which they have not been lately. ( Kind of makes you think if some kind of class action suite may hit them for that ). Cutting corners to be cheap is not where they should be thinking. This MOLD along with the first they could have made it much better with more or better paint apps. They but detail in the molds but then choose to cheap out on Paint. #hasbro #hasbrostudioseries

For me this is the worst figure one besides starscream, because like his colors palette are so off, and the shape, the wheels, legs, shoulder and everything this guy have was worse. Like deception car solider on the game is very great ai character design I ever seen. but after I see this monstrosity, I think starscream was way better than him and I'm not going to buy this guy like he's very terrible, having less energon glows thing on the robot mode and car.
