Thanks for getting back to me dude! And thank you for watching my story, I’ve been putting a lot of time and effort into this and I’m glad you are enjoying it. And yes, the scenes are a little short, I addressed that at the very end of this part of the Rewrite. And because I’m focusing on the individual character moments, the scenes feel shorter, which is how they are supposed to be. And since I’m reading them to you, details are glossed over to focus more on the main ideas or characters in the scene. For instance, when the scene shifts, the set up would be longer if it was to be put on screen. I just don’t want to be boring my viewers with long commentary. So with all of that. The scenes feel shorter. And I’m also slowly revealing the Decepticon’s plan and the plot of the film so there is going to be longer scenes in the next part. I hope that makes sense. It’s very hard to draw a fine line between a good, long scene and a drawn out one. I’m definitely taking that into consideration for my next part, I’ve been rewriting some sections of the Rewrite for the past few days, there’s some sections that went against my rules I established in part 1. I’ll love to still be a part of your project, I’m going to take a look at your channel! I have a lot of services to offer and I don’t want to pass up this opportunity. 6:17 What is it with Megatron and libraries? I first heard Optimus remark to Megatron "Maybe you should have spent more time in the library" in their final boss fight in Fall of Cybertron, and now this.

Before Optimus became a Prime, he was Orion Pax, a young data clerk who worked in the halls of Iacon. In other words, he was a librarian before the war and before he became a Prime. That’s one of the core parts of the official transformers lore :)

@@nathanhills336 Oh, I always thought Megatron was the librarian in this context. Either way, that's the funniest thing I've learned about Optimus. I can see him and Megatron having a heated debate that escalates into a fight in a library. "DO AS I COMMAND!" "Shut up Megatron."

“Megatron, people are trying to read! What’s the matter with you?” In this context, it’s the same as the official lore. Quintessa is degrading and torturing Megatron in this scene so when She says “bested by a simple librarian”, she is talking about Optimus. In the lore, Megatron is actually a gladiator before the war and goes by Megatronus, which was a name that belonged to one of the 13 original primes. We actually saw Megatronus in the form of the Fallen in Revenge of the Fallen. The Fallen is what he’s commonly known as though. But yes, Optimus was a data clerk and saw Alpha Trion as a mentor. The idea was to give Optimus a more humble beginning because when Transformers was first created in 1984, Optimus was pretty much perfect.

Hello everyone! Sorry for such a long wait. The graphic novel animation took awhile and the ambient sounds only added to it. However, I hope you all enjoy! Leave your thoughts in the comments below. Also, I want to take this time to say thank you for the support I have received recently. It’s been so nice talking to you all and answering questions. Keep those comments coming. However, I do have a slight concern I need to address. This video took awhile to edit and record. I’m mostly focused on big projects at the moment and I get a lot of questions about my progress, when it’s going to be posted, etc. I kindly ask you to refrain on constantly asking questions about the progress of my projects. As much as I love how much you guys are invested, it gets a little distracting when I’m getting multiple comments a day while working. I’m not saying you can’t ask those questions, I’m just saying to limit the amount of time you ask them. They only delay the project further if I’m being bombarded with comments. I will give updates on my progress, like i did 2 days ago. When I post update videos, that is when you can bombard me with questions, reviews, comments, and concerns. Now please, don’t be afraid to leave a comment on any of my videos as long as that comment isn’t “spam.” I love discussing things with all of you and I don’t want that to end. Just be mindful that I have other responsibilities in my life. That being said, part 4 is almost finished. I need to write one scene and rewrite another one. Sadly, it isn’t the horn of unicron. Unicron needed to be set up in Age of Extinction in order for his involvement to feel natural. The horn serves a smaller part in my plot for the film. I wanted this film to feel personal which meant a more contained story focusing on our characters and the effect the war has on them. Like I said in part 2, smaller is better.

Hey, we've talked before. We actually agree on more than not, at least I think so based on a short back and forth in the comments on Alex's channel. After talking with you and learning you're writing for the upcoming fan film I have taken the time to view your videos on the subject of Transformers. I think you're really talented and have a great potential for writing and such. If I may I'd suggest only this to you. Avoid exposition dumps, time stamps, or location statements like the plague. Convey this information in character dialog in which the info flows in a natural state of conversation. Even when writing a bare bone script exploit the details as you see fit. I personally would rather spend more time reading something with intrigue rich with detail over a perfectly written and streamlined script. Now between you and I when it comes to the matter of being cannon to the previous films and material I would like to see you make the work a little more of your own as I believe that greatness requires us to put ourselves into the work hence creating something special and unique. The most important thing I want you to get from this comment is encouragement to keep using your talents however you may choose to do so. I'm just the old guy telling you to keep doing you.

Thanks dude! I do mainly use this “exposition” to explain the setting to you. To make the audience feel as if they’re in the story themselves. Usually, the location descriptions, time stamps and what not would be communicated visually, through dialogue, or nothing at all. For example, I wouldn’t put the timestamp in the beginning, I would put it in the news report Bumblebee is watching. I wouldn’t have each scene start with a shot over the forest or in a city, I’ll cut straight to the good stuff, besides the places we aren’t familiar with like the snowy mountain and such. But thanks for the suggestion nonetheless. I’ve enjoyed talking to you and I’m glad you’ve taken an interest in my work!

Quintessa and Nemesis see both the Autobots and the Decepticons as opposition and obstacles in the way of their goal, which is to restore Cybertron. Nemesis’s mission was to go to Earth and rid it of both the Autobots and decepticons, which is why the decepticons battled Nemesis in the quick flash backs I talked about in that scene. And Nemesis would’ve killed the unknown seeker either way but his main motivation to kill him in that scenario was the Seeker calling him Optimus, reminding Nemesis of his past and angering him.

Now that we are going into Act 3, I don’t have enough time to establish Vivian, Cogman, and Hot rod. There’s just too much material there. Act 3 is where the story concludes. If I wanted to introduce them, I would’ve done it in act 1 or 2. The Dino bots will play a part of the final battle though.

Simple, he doesn’t. He wasn’t built up enough in the previous films and was one of the reasons TLK felt bloated. I just want to focus on the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons like the previous films before TLK. Plus, the rewrite is already in Act 3. That is not where you introduce a villain like Unicron. For Unicron to work, he would have to be introduced as the main villain in Act 1 with Megatron as a stepping stone for him or in act 2 as a twist. I am however working on Transformers: Rise of Unicron which is a fan continuation of the Bayverse and a sequel to The Last Knight. I’m a writer for it :)

@@nathanhills336 I previously asked if you are still including Vivian, Hot Rod, Cogman, and the Dinobots because how in your rewrite, you made the Decepticons sort of outmatch the Autobots like overpower them, and Hound returning to the Autobot ship is a way of the Autobots having hope. I asked that maybe the Autobots would have other hope from others around. I also have some questions: 1. Will Hound and Crosshairs be healed of their injuries in the remainder of the rewrite? 2. Will Optimus and Megatron go back to Earth and regroup with their forces? 3. Are still having it where the group finds the staff to repower Cybertron and then were confronted by Optimus?
