I must've got one of the best built figures because I can hold it upside down by one foot and the spinning fenders don't budge,and they tab in in car mode.

I'm really happy they made a new version of this character, he's one of my top 5 favorite Autobots (I can't decide which characters I like more than the others) this guy, Jazz, Blaster, Sunstreaker, and Sky Lynx. The clear plastic scares me a little, probably more than most because I've had clear plastic break on me before on Siege Apeface and Generations Selects Nightbird

Tracks being one of my favorite G1 Autobots, it’s sad to see he has those QC issues. Also wish Hasbro could have gotten the licensing to an actual Corvette. Regardless, thank you for the review, Paul!

Immediately there was a problem in vehicle mode, I identified it and modded my figure. There’s 2 little half tabs on his legs that form together into one big tab that tabs in under the front of the windshield, something wasn’t molded right to fit at all, so the windshield wouldn’t tab to the hood. So I cut the tabs off of the legs and it fit just fine. They’re useless anyways since the windshield has little tabs that fit under the hood. An argument could be made that the windshield held the middle of the legs together better, but even without them, everything else that tabs together, does that job just fine. I tried my damndest to tab them into the square hole under the windshield, but it just wasn’t happening. The moment they were gone, there were no parts fighting for real estate and it all clicked together just fine.

I agree about the leg parts of this new Tracks, they don't lock in and the feet look bad the way they made them, but overhaul, he looks pretty good, a good representation of the G1 character, and that was a nice impression, Paul! LOL Very cool review!

I had all the same issues with my copy. Floor polish helped, but I haven’t figured out a good fix for that irritating leg peg issues.

I recommend cutting off those little clear tabs that connect the windshield to the hood. I did it to mine and it makes that part way less scary to do.

Great review Paul, i am passing on this one, just too many issues. I have that (Takara) United Tracks you compared him to, so i am going to open that one up and enjoy it. It looks much more shiny too!

I just got mine a few days ago. Yeah the legs are just horrible. Loose and looks so ridiculous sadly. Really hard to keep him standing up. Seems like Hasbro dropped the ball on this one

It looks good in both modes, but qc, the massive amount of clear plastic, the nubs "holding" the leg panels in place, makes this a hard sell

Here's a thought.... how about doing a slower more clear step by step transformation. "Move this and twist this and tuck that" doesn't transfer well to today's youth. Now I am trying to follow you rapid and somewhat vague instructions so I can teach him how to do it. Slow down and explain things better.

I absolutely hate this toy! My son got it for his birthday last year, and I have to watch this video every time he wants a different transformation. It's so complicated, nothing stays where's supposed to and it's so frustrating. It's definitely not for kids.

Yeah...no. The poor utilization of clear plastic and the flaws with the legs turn the figure off for me entirely. The RTS version is a vastly superior version compared to...this.

This figure is terrible. Tolerance issues, incredibly loose joints, paper thin materials. One of the poorest mainline figures I've seen in awhile. Yikes. Good review, as always, Paul.
