With Doubledealer, it's either deal or no dealer. The box labels him as a Decepticon, but his packaging states Autobot. His character art on the side of the box is awesome. -This Earthrise mercenary sculpted/molded designs looks great in all three modes. His color scheme looks awesome. Along with his weapon accessories. Yeah, the QC issues are a little troubling, and I do wish that his military missile truck mode had bigger wheels, the ratch points be tighter, and for the missile pegs to be longer to stay plugged into ports. But the figure is still great.

It doesn't show it in the directions but for bird mode you should have the shoulder flaps flipped up so the autobot symbol shows (in robot modes) then when it's transformed into 🐦 mode the bird legs will fit in much more squared up. And still no auto/decept symbol will show. P.S. unfold both wing tips in carrier mode for proper clearance.

I just don't understand why they keep leaving out ratchet joints on these bigger figures there really needed and it makes the toys feel flemzy and cheap even though there so damn expensive

He does feel flimsy. He needs some good joint ratchets. I mean his weapon is almost as long as he is. You need to be able to hold it up.

I think you have folded the wings up in the wrong way, so this might be why he is not rolling properly. The loose right arm joint is a problem though

@@nightlypiano4116 that's the problem. They know they can half ass it because people will buy it just because it's a new Doubledealer. The extra weapons are just a cop out to justify the price, and the powermasters don't even come with him.

The price-point is what really kills it for me, but it also doesn't help that the bird-mode is so slavishly faithful to the original. Even by G1 animal-mode standards, whose chunkiness I typically love, it's a bit of a hot-mess. The other part that gets me is that it's hard to not to compare him to Snapdragon who is the other triple-changer in Earthrise, nearly half the price, with a more solid animal mode, and seems to have a less-fiddly transformation. I'd like to pick up Doubledealer, he doesn't seem like a bad figure exactly, it's just hard to justify the high price-tag given what you're getting. He feels like a figure I'd gladly purchase for $10-20 cheaper.

I've watched 4 Doubledealer reviews already, and NONE of the reviewers do anything more than shove it in the chest cavity... frustrating. As soon as my Doubledealer gets here, that's the first thing I'm going to do... find an appropriate spot to have one micromaster in cavity and one on body. That gray tail piece looks like a great spot. I also notice the peg holes on the side of both alt modes, but I'm not sure if they actually fit since the reviewers don't think it's necessary to try.

The insignia means that they serve Frylock from Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Exhaust insignia looks like Frylock

Just get rid of the Eagle mode and change couple pieces and you can have a Transformers Generation Cybertron Red Alert
