JP93's head and weapon look like they're modeled on Robert Muldoon, Jurassic Park's game warden from the original movie. The tan thing on the top of the head is supposed to be his brimmed hat, and the weapon is his shotgun.

I appreciate JP93 as a robot mode in the sense that it keeps in line with some of the G2 robots that were still coming out in the '90s. Classic car chest and wings, and even relatively bright colors. It's a great throwback, and I feel that it's almost exactly what they would have done back then for this colab

Y'know, I'm kinda surprised they didn't also retool Dinobot for a velociraptor character for this collab. The t-rex is iconic for Jurassic Park, but the velociraptor has practically become a dueteragonist, in terms of iconic dinosaurs in the series. Though that's probably more-so because of Jurassic World, and this is solely Jurassic Park.

I think it's because the dinobot alt mode isn't that great and if they did that (frankly lackluster) velociraptor people would be asking why they didn't do the perfect t rex instead

I would love to see Hasbro do the Mystery Machine from Scooby-Doo retooled from the Earthrise deluxe Ironhide/ Ratchet mould or see them do the KITT car from Knight Rider retooled from the Earthrise Sideswipe/Sunstreaker mould

As much as I absolutely love the Sideswipe mold but I definitely think Sunstreaker for KITT because we have like 5 million different sideswipes lol. And the Mystery Machine would be AMAZING! I absolutely love Scooby Doo! Also thinking the A-Team van would be cool or Magnum P.I.’s Ferrari

I think Rexys robot mode is kinda fitting in a way. Very plain with little personality. I imagine a robot whose beast mode is as animalistic as Rexy would be devoid of personality and keeping her basic like that gives the vibe that there's no intelligence no compassion. Only instinct

I love this double-figure pack and the amount of detail and effort it was added to it. I personally call Tyrannocon a “she” because she is female in the films and it does make sense. Anyways, JP-93 is stunning despite a few of his nit-picky flaws, and his head sculpt and transformation is awesome! Definitely worth it to add them to the collection for any crossover lovers!!!

I'm honestly digging the JP-93 head sculpt. Fitting park range vibes. Brimmed ranger hat and sunglasses. Might have been nice to try and tie him back to Muldoon specifically, but it works for me.

Given how much effort was put in this alt mode mold, i really believe they did this design knowing the collab was coming. This mold seems far more accurate to JP than beast wars, and with the effort put in, i think it would look way different if it was designed as beast wars first.

The shotgun is modeled after a spas-12 an Italian shotgun that could be pump action or semi automatic in this configuration the stock is folded on top of the gun and on the real thing it can fold down to form a solid stock the spas-12 is one of my favorite shotguns as it’s so iconic

The Red & Black body of Tyrannocon (I think) is referencing the original JP logo and JP93 has a shotgun and hat which replicates the look of the hunter Muldoon :)

I also suspect this was intended for MIB packaging collectors and not really intended for use as toys/transforming... That may also help explain why JP93 is a bit rubbish in robot mode and they couldn't be bothered to name him other than give the initials of the movie and the release year

I believe the head is meant to represent Sam Neill with his tan safari/outback hat and wearing sunglasses. The shotgun is a SPAS 12 semi auto and pump shotgun (depending on the cartridge load) that is famous for jamming.

The explorer figure is meant to be an homage to Muldoon. The shotgun should be an obvious hint to that, but the face scuplt is the more obvious one when you look at it. Not only does it have Muldoon's hunting hat (I.e the creamy helmet mentioned in video), but the robot even has the same serious, tight-lipped expression muldoon expresses when focused on something. Also, youtube's algorithm can eat a cloaca.. you can't even reference a photo of actors without having your comment deleted.

My t Rex robot head doesn't go all the way down, it seems to have some extra plastic that prevents it from snapping into place. Does anyone else have that problem?

JP93 was clearly inspired by Robert Muldoon even including his shotgun. Rexy on the other hand just symbolizes the classic JP colors. Mud camo or foliage would have been cool interior finish textures.

When I saw the thumbnail I was like “That’s Kingdom Megatron.” That one is sitting on my mantle with Primal’s sword in his mouth. It’s a great figure. Keeps enough of the 90s look while having its own look. Edit: I think if they make the TRex mode silver she would look perfect in robot mode. For this dino color, a nice light gray with red accents would suit her better than just red and black.

He was only in 1 and 3 , it was Ian Malcolm who was in 1 and 2. Also it's Robert muldoon that they are referencing not Alan Grant. Think about it , the hat and weapon JP3 comes with coincidence ? I think not.
