Accent green is definitely a personal preference. It is a flexible element. Loved the rest.

That green definitely screams, "Let me get out of here! I do not belong!" What were Sarah and Tommy thinking??

Love the room, but not the light fixture, tommy is right, it’s too harsh and not for baby rooms, otherwise another great room, great design and hilarious people 🧡

Sarah has done so many killer nurseries...this isn't one of them. But Tommy and Lindsay are stars. I love how silly she becomes when with him.

We adults may not like the green color, but when I was a design student in the Eighties after a research in a playschool, kids actually like green color and orange. It wasn't red or blue. That's adults choice 😜.

True, it’s not the color, it’s the specific shade of that green that I, and so many others I see, have a distaste for. I find it horrendous

I sure hope they outfitted the bookshelf cabinet doors with a clear plexi/acrylic. In no time our babies become toddlers... banging, throwing, falling. The thought of accidents if this is glass... that's scary.

Love that shade of green…verdant green I bet from SW. love the light fixture and the walls and art. I would have like to have seen some color on the mobile or maybe use safari animals. But as always the put everything together so nicely.

pheNOMenal! I love garbage-picking too! Or what we in New York City call dumpster-diving. I have acquired several great pieces that way.

I don’t mind the safari theme but I hate that green.

They did make a mistake with that baby mobile though. You don’t hang it from the ceiling because the baby won’t be able to actually focus the eyes that far away. It’s always clipped to the crib headboard down lower.

It is too crowded with stuff. I don't like the bold green especially on the crib, yuck!

Besides, I didn’t like the shade of green, they picked up, the room ended up becoming an awesome nursery!!! And I loved the idea of giving it life with a sharp tone, but that particular shade, I think is kind of not “married” with any other of the colors on the deco. It’s just my point of view. 🤔🤔🤔

"So we'll go with the neutral zebra..." (not something you generally hear from the nursery decor team.)
@jeanlaubenthal6982 жыл бұрын
The green is fun! Maybe change out the dresser handles or a different mirror? Mirror kinda distracting.
@arcy57982 жыл бұрын
I had Noah's Ark in my baby's nursery, with rainbow curtains so lots and lots of color--still I would not paint a crib that green, but mom loved it so score for the home team. The light fixture and mirror have to go. Ugly is ugly people! I hope EVERYONE catches on to the dresser/changing topper idea. What a waste those changing tables are!

Several problems with this nursery: 1. Changing table too tall. 2. No room to stand while changing. 3. Chair arms too thin. 4. Ottoman - huge fail! 5. Side table too small. 6. Ceiling light needs a shade. 7. Mirror is disturbing. 8. BIGGEST PROBLEM: Science says infant mobiles should be black and white and visually stimulating. Could have used zebras and other safari animals. Brown eggs were terrible.

Sorry Tommy, breastfeeding is NOT a horrific experience. I nursed all three of my boys and it was a beautiful experience. If circumstances had been different, and I had been able to nurse each for two years, I would have done it.

I mean to be fair, she's a professional interior decorator. I've never heard of someone hiring an interior decorator and be on a tight budget. If someone is on a tight budget, they would do everything themselves. They're not going to hire a decorator for a $100 makeover, you know? lol
