TRANSFORMING an OVERGROWN Garden for ELDERLY Customer | Satisfying Before & After!

In this video, watch as I take on the challenge of restoring a severely neglected garden for a customer who can no longer care for it.
The garden still has quite a way to go, but the main objective was to create a space that’s manageable, allowing the elderly woman to enjoy a few precious hours on her garden bench, soaking up the last rays of sunshine Scotland has to offer before the long winter arrives.

Very satisfying to watch as I can't get into my garden due to the rain last few days. I have just bought a Henchman ladder like yours and I was interested to see how you get up to the top and use the strimmer like a scythe I guess that's to make it easier on the arms? Also using the mower to pick up and mulch the hedge clippings - brilliant idea. All in all, the demonstration of differnt techniques was very helpful for us amateurs and much appreciated. I have Leylandii hedges all round my garden and the lady next door is very shy and doesn't want me to come on her side to cut them so I have to reach over and hook them before I can cut them so they don't fall! The Henchman is a life saver for this job, as I can put the forward leg into the middle of the hedge and get to them.

You make it look so easy! Beautiful work. I was attempting to help a friend with overgrown front hedges. A few swipes up and down and I suddenly feel numerous pin pricks around my neck and head. Yup, wasp nest. And those buggers were on me in a second. Jeesh! In my haste to swat them away I started backing up with my eyes closed waving my arms thinking (overly dramatic here) I was going to get stung to death. I tripped over the trimmers I had dropped and fell into the road. Luckily I injured no cars in this hysterical process. Continuing on with road rash on my arm, numerous wasp stings and perseverance, I left the nest encircled with its branches and my life. Thankfully not allergic

The same thing happened to me once when pruning a willow. I never noticed the nest and boom! I was attacked and stung 4 times in the neck. I've never ran so fast in my life!
