You and your colleague make it look almost effortless, when you transform these neglected properties, but only because the two of you have such exceptional landscaping skills. The both of you work quickly and quite meticulously in getting these landscapes back to neat, tidy and manicured status! It is a pleasure to watch you both work as diligently as you do, with such great attention to detail. These are the skills and qualities I learned while doing an internship in the Netherlands, where I worked with several Dutch landscaping companies. These skills have served me well ever since, and always delight clients when the jobs are completed. It is awe inspiring to watch the both of you work on so many different properties. Becoming a single parent isn’t always a choice and it normally happens under very traumatic and stress filled circumstances. When that happens many women are left to take care of a house and garden they can barely afford. Thank you for so generously helping this mom. When I started watching this video I thought the property must belong to an elderly person who loved gardening, but it had become all too much for them physically - hence the totally overgrown jungle. THEN I read your description. Wow! A person with a full time job could have and should have paid for upkeep every few months. Thanks to your generosity and hard work they get another chance. I thought the same. It looked like a myriad of garden ideas were going on. When I read deeper and found out she got a divorce, it ALL made sense. Resources are strained with one income. Let's not forget the mental toll divorce takes. Depression sets in pretty hard. You are taking care of a child and their needs. Yours gets buried somewhere along the line, much less trying to take care of a yard. That's when your village should step in and help. Surely, someone in the neighborhood could have helped her. Watching this breaks my heart, because you clearly see evidence of better happier times; a garden planned out, play equipment for kids, a patio with a chiminea. SO MANY people are on hard times right now, MANY are suffering with major illness or the grief of losing loved ones in the last few years. Wow! You're a saint and she's one lucky woman! Most people would have taken one look and walked away. Instead, you offered to help for free on your own time! I think that's the first truly messy and cluttered property with actual rubbish everywhere that I've seen since watching you. It made your job infinitely harder, having to always move things and consolidate them into piles before you could trim or mow. But you managed to make things so much better, all mown and raked and trimmed and tidied up. The yard was in a bad state of disrepair as the homeowner couldn't keep it up due to her full time job, but now she will be able to do it and I have already seen this week that some of the junk has been taken to the dump, so she has a chance to start again! 😀

You are the only one who takes unwanted plants by the roots. (I have also seen your other vids-removal of overgrown conifers too). Big plants are a whole other level of difficulty. My goodness you are strong! Very consistent and through.

Well you are certainly a talented, hard worker. There was so much pruning, chopping, and digging to take care of the shrubs. I hope she hired you to maintain her garden on a regular basis and that she found someone to take away the rubbish. Excellent job!
