as you near the end of the video and you test it im screaming into the screen "you forgot the jumper pack" lo and behold thats just what you did and remembered later on... oops o well at least you got hdmi on it now, making a classic system look even better

Great video but you didn’t show the rest of the installation. What do you do to fit the board in the shell and what did you do with the hdmi out?

@@wolfmanrepairs that's great! I've been researching HDMI mods since I ordered an N64 and it seems this one gets a lot of hate, but I assumed it's overblown. How's the sound quality through the HDMI mod? I should've asked that before ...sorry!

It sounds really good too. I’m not sure if there’s a big difference between composite sound vs the HDMI though. 🐺🐺😁😁

No problem any time!! 😁 It’s really a good deal if you just want HDMI output. I think the more expensive ones have more features and higher resolution but this one works great!! I’m not sure if AliExpress does affiliate links. Something I will have to look into🐺🐺🐺😁😁😁

Oof, hard to watch the bad solder job at the start. It was obvious you had too much solder on the tip. You should have tined the pins on the chip first, then placed the ribbon, then you can solder it without any solder on the tip.

Yeah I learned a lot with this one for sure! It probably didn’t help that the pins were a bit oxidized!! Thanks for the tip!! I will have to do that next time!!🐺🐺😁😁
