Do you know someone having a tough time right now? This series is designed to offer gentle words of encouragement to anyone dealing with difficult emotions or circumstances. Please feel free to share.
Whether in groups, relationships or inside ourselves, Division can be seen as a journey into profound inner wisdom. Here Richard Rudd shows how unwittingly we sow the seeds of division in our lives by thinking and speaking of others in a negative light. Look upon others from a place of Virtue and you will see everyone and everything with radiant clarity.

Beloved Richard. This has been such a beautiful message. And so necessary for me to hear in this moment. This is a permanent reminder. I loved the sudden bursts of light coming through the window on your face, and how they aligned with what you were saying in the 4th minute (shiny side) and at the very end at minute 8 when you say "transform the division" and the light just bursts out as you open your hands. So beautiful. Thank you for your love and guidance! Miss you my wolf brother!

0:49 "And ultimately all outer division is an expression of something internal." 1:36 "The greatest way in which the world causes division for itself is the way in which we see each other, and the way in which we talk about each other." 3:00 "The second thing is how we think about them." -- Deeply true to me, all of this. I'd give three dozen "thumbs up" if I could. Rosenberg's Nonviolent Communication to me was and is a really helpful tool here. It made me aware of my divisive attitude and cleared the way down to the simplicity of four checkmarkers. I learned to express myself about MYSELF (and not about others), and thisby means of my observations (incl. my thoughts), my feelings, my needs and requests (to myself or the other). That seems all I would ever need. In those groups, whenever people connected with their needs, they became so human, so much "like myself". More than once my heart burst open within minutes when before I saw a daft or an enemy before me and was contemptuous or in killer energy. NVC is a tool of empathy (first for yourself), anyone who can handle it will bathe you in a warm, relaxing healing waters. The GK team are the first for decades to have a similar effect on me :))

I feel so soothe and soft, my heart open! Thank you for clarifying this for me. I've always seen the best in people, always believed in the good in them, but sometimes I would not have the balance to see the wholeness of them, shadow included. Thank you! 🙏🤍

I never thought it would be possible to think so compassionately about others & myself . then it kinda just happened . was it from practicing gratitude? . was it simply radically logical? . I don’t quite know . anyway, I have harboured an idea that runs in reverse to what we commonly believe . we believe that a harmful act is more injurious than harmful words, that harmful words are more injurious than harmful thoughts . but I always thought: what if it is thoughts that have the greatest power?; then words; then deeds . maybe it was this that made a difference... but boy does it feel great to treat everyone so tenderly in my thinking . yeah I make mistakes, act like a fool, and say or do the wrong thing... anyway . that’s all I wanted to say

Thankyou so much Richard. I have both the 7th and the 13th GK’s in my activation sequence and found at one point that I was in so much allowing/empathy that I became a bit of a doormat, I couldn’t make proper boundaries I was just so open somehow. If you have any words on the balance between compassion/empathy and boundary making/calling out bad behaviour etc then i would be really interested to hear. Many thanks Isabelle

Thank you for the message. I have always thought it pays to consider the difference between observation and judgment when you talk about someone not present. Like you said, As humans, we love to talk about other peoples this is something we will continue to do. I simply ask, is this a observation with love, which can provide insight, or judgment, which can divide.
