The part where he said we would be using less efficient ( older ) ASIC miners because the electricity price in Ethiopia is low hit me so hard oh god, all this rush is to make Ethiopia a dumping ground for millions of older ASIC miners. oh god its just doesn't get lower than this😓. It has been my question for long time now where all this old ASIC miners would be going after like years of use, I think i got the answer now. Its just a shame. Ethiopian govt should look in in to this again its a disrespect.

It is not true. Almost all the machines imported to Ethiopia are brand new. Also, why would it be bad to use older machines? They still work properly

thank you for your comments. it could be a way to bootstrap, however, the reality is that the regulation in Ethiopia does not incentiveses the import of second hand machines. Everything that is being imported is all new machines.
