Pretty sure this truck is what caused me to find the channel in the first place. Great work as usual.

@@redlineranch. I don’t know about Toyota or Nissan, but a turbo-4 out of a Mustang or Camaro might do the trick. The TDI out of a VW Jetta is a nasty little engine to be so small. Twelve Hundred horsepower is hella fire

This is awesome! Needs a lot of love again. New tires, new radiator, a lot of new stuff. I hope you give the hilux a new respray, new finished wheels, new finished interior, stereo, speakers and and clean engine bay. Make this truck look new again.😊

Think you forgot the windshield wipers. The "Window" hack is to put a piece of string or cord inside the seal, and pull it out while installing the window and it pulls the lip of the seal over the window cutout.

Enjoying the videos! I recently acquired a 74 Hilux so I am definitely learning a lot from you. How is the steering on yours? Mine feels a little sloppy above 45 mph and I think a steering gearbox rebuild or swap is in my future. It could just be that I am not used to manual steering, but I think it's worn gears in the steering box. Any thoughts on swapping drum brakes for disc brakes? Cheers.

the steering is definitely a bit loose, ive been looking into what it would take to get it tightened up!

@@redlineranch. The main reason l enjoy your channel you work on older Toyotas and of course there are a lot of older Toyotas around because Toyotas are number one in Australia and people keep them because they don't break down and for many years they built Toyota Camerys in Australia including the first Toyota Camery Hybrids the go to for Taxis in Australia

You may want to look into under dash universal air conditioning kits, I know vintage air sells them, but there might be units that are more available locally. If nothing else, there are all electric a/c systems in the aftermarket as well, just upgrade your alternator. Peace!!

You can use a hose clamp on the input section to heater core.. just on the hose itself to pinch off and Constrict flow through the heater hose. Loosen and tighten depending on the flow you desire. I seen someone do it before, I usually just c clamp it off entirely 😂 simple effective. Definitely not the right way but whatever works. 😂 greetings from Toledo, Ohio
