Another excellent video. You strike the balance between information and keeping people interested. Anyone can watch because you explain the process but also don't show every single step. It's a fine line that can keep anyone at any knowledge level interested but you do it perfectly.

Great project and fantastic work. Jmho wheelbase would drive my ocd nuts. Id be cutting the frame. Yes ive done that before on a 80 toyota 4x4. Rear frame was totally wasted. Replaced frame from cab back. It was sentimental or i wouldnt have done it

This is the type of stuff so cool.. One would literally Help you for Free just to see the "Frankenyota" first hand. It's dudes like you that literally should be a part of a Toyota engineering team or something. 😂 could be reverse engineering other car makers products to see How not to build a car, although Toyota has done a pretty good job of it for a few decades now. "Legendary reliability". 🤙🏻

BTW, next time you come across a spare wench, mount it at the end of the garage to pull cars in! Don't take your back for granted! I screwed mine up 35 years ago when I ran out of gas just as I was about to pull my 74 HiLux into the gas station, @100' up a slight incline. I blew out my back instead of walking 100' and putting gas in a can. HUGE mistake. My back has been screwed up ever since.

@ HEY! You are creative enough to figure out a way... block and tackle... Just trust me on this... DON'T F'up your back! I was young and strong too. I had to switch from manual labor jobs to desk jobs, and it still keeps me from picking up a quarter on the floor.

@@Poppinwheeeeellllllieeeeez I’ll be back to normal content next video! This is the full in depth build. I wanted people to be able to see the entire build process, not just a glossed over version. There are a lot of people that enjoy that and ask to see everything. Considering I spent over 3 months on the truck, 50+ hours of editing, and I’ve got 4 videos from all of that I’d say I’m not milking it, a lot of people would have done 12 weekly videos about the tiniest updates.

I'm wanting to do an E-locker but I currently have 4:56 gears in my 1986 4runner now. My other option is the ARB air lockers. Marlin builds them with 4:56 gears but that requires an air tank and other setups. Was hoping an elocker is an easier mod.
