Feminist Leadership is about capitalising on the ideas and skills of as many individuals as possible by establishing cooperation and group leadership instead of competition and personal leadership; it seeks to develop power ""with others"" instead of power ""over others."" Feminist leadership developed as a way of addressing deep social inequities, but it can also be used to transform the way team members work together. This talk will draw on ActionAid UK's award-winning experience of using feminist leadership to develop a better governance team.
