Clean install and I really like the routing to the switch panel vs fuse tap or using the footwell wiring. Wish I had this person install mine because that grommet had me beat. 😂 Didn’t see in the video, but it looked like it was connected to the orange and purple wire. Does it show the lines when placed in reverse?

Great video. This was a huge help in planning my install, so thank you! The only two things that tripped me up were: 1) The old mirror was not easy to pop off, and the whole mount came off the windshield. That took a while to figure out how to get it back on. 2) The door-side end of that rubber conduit had a full rubber sleeve going up over all the wires, so it took a bit of cutting to make a whole in the rubber to fish the wires.

Much simpler to take the power from the footwell outlets and run the ignition trigger to the fuse box beside the steering wheel. The bit I really wanted to see was where you took the reverse trigger wire to. I didn’t connect mine because I didn’t want to try and find the reverse light wire. Also east to run the GPS down the A pillar and put in dash where it will get a better signal

@@andrewwiltshire2689 similarly so, you can connect it to the 12V DC (Lighter) in the console. No need to cut/modify the overhead. The center console powers on when the ignition is turned. If one has a multimeter, just tap into the already present backup camera, near center bottom of rear door.

Great info. Nice to see what it takes to

Did I miss where they removed the ADAS (big aluminum 'block') under the plastic cover? We see the removal of the cover and then the mirror (@11:32-11:44). Then unit is removed (@20:00) and then we see just as being put BACK (@21:57).

The easiest and cleanest installation is to wire it to the fusebox and use the ODB fuse as it has a permanent live. No need to remove the roof panel that way.

This is a very informative video, nicly done. Actually one of the best. My Dealer did my Wolfbox G900. I questioned them on the install and they told me they will only use fuse taps. Cutting and soldering will void the warranty. Even if they the Dealership did the work. Where did you connect the yellow wire for the shock sensor?

hello. Where did you connect the rear red reverse sensor wire ??

Thanks for watching my video. Since the Grenadier has a back up camera already, with a better viewing angle for parking assistance, I decided not to connect the red reverse trigger on this installation. The Wolfbox works great as a dvr and full time rear view monitor. Swiping on the touch screen for camera selection and view angles isn’t much of a problem.

With our wolfbox and IG, we wired it to the rear right reverse light. So, when the reverse light comes on, the camera auto-switches.

Not a great place to mount the GPS antenna. At best the accuracy is likely to be reduced, at worst the metal of the roof is going to block the signal entirely.

Agreed on the GPS placement.....did the GPS work for the customer after the install? Also....GREAT install video! Will check you out when we decide to make some changes to our Grenadier because we are in Larkspur/Monument!

Thank you for watching my video. This was such a fun project with an amazing vehicle. The features all work properly and without issue. In my opinion… gps is so widely used, the signal strength isn’t really an issue.
