Thank you Sir Ken for inspiring such profound questions: How are you creative? How are you inteligent? How are you helping others discover and apply their diverse talents? How are you connecting the resources available to the challenges of today and tomorrow? How are you helping create, improve or develop better ends (challenges) and better means (resources)?

It looks like the audience just didn't get enough of Sir Ken's jokes. I really felt bad for him there at the beginning. However, he spoke like he speaks everytime - just blissfully.

yes (I assumed a slight language barrier affected the ability of the audience to understand his humor)

Exactly! So painful to watch! :-( I guess they just can't understand English well enough, perhaps they are there mostly for other talks in French.

Because they benefit from it being the way it currently is (Testing companies, textbook companies). It is all about business!

As probably one of the symptoms that I have seen abound at least here in Switzerland , is that you may find multi-faceted individuals with many activities (professional or besides) at hand tend to be very rare in numbers while there is the majority , especially, women and minorities unluckily their whole lives revolve around just finding a part-time job and going to Discotheque on the weekends with very little variability and meaning in between , I don't know if that is a a natural evolution of consequences of the type of education that you helped describe in such thoughtful speech , or it is much more deeper than that !

I’m at 21:48 maybe early to say but the purpose of education is to prepare youngsters to be trained workers. Financially independent families should do home schooling I do believe. Schools teaching kids to obey. Purpose is to have obedient society. Like modern slaves. This is not a conspiracy, isn’t it, Sir?

Yes, we can get rid of exams and all testing and so on and so forth... Everyone goes to Cambridge or Warwick.. We just label every university to have these names and we all give A+ to students to encourage them for being a unique human being... Yes it will work.... He just complains so that the business side can take over the education.

People don't get deceived. These lords are only interested in the financial side of education business. The reason that they blame teachers is because it is the weakest, most stressed out and poorest paid link in the chain in the entire business. In the end you cannot expect the education to work unless at the ground level forces are well taken care of as in the Finnish educational system.
