Nicely done. I was wondering if I should try and fix other kind of scraped parts of my 93 2004 convertible. But would you not like to also wrap the shifter (silver part) and the door openers?

Have you ever done a trim replacement? I‘m kinda stuck. After cutting the plastic welded parts the Trim seems like stuck/ clipped or glued at the grind and rear ends. I need to keep those trims in best condition possible 😅

it's quite difficult to remove so I have never personally bothered with it. painting it or wrapping like I did here is the way to go imo

@@AutoAutopsy I got them removed. It is not that when you realize that there are also welding points at the very ends of the trims. I needed new Interieurs but wanted to keep the 9-3X trims. I‘m gonna try to put them on the new Interieur this weekend. Wish me luck

Where did you get the passenger cup holder insert from? (where the coin slot is)

It’s the smart slot cupholder. It’s an accessory that was offered with the cars. I got mine secondhand. You can probably find them still new on esaabparts or on eBay!

I got some interieur-parts paintet (no wrap) in gloss-black here in Denmark. This comes out great - because it feels so original. The coulour combination was gloss-black with beige leather. Exclusive :-).

Carbon trim was a factory finish on Turbo Edition with TX pack. My 2010 93 ttid had it from factory.

Wow!! That looks really nice. I also own a 2003 9-3, same blue color, but parchment interior. Those trim pieces in my Saab are looking a bit chalky after 20 years. I may try this idea myself. Love your channel BTW!

Done this before on my saab and very likely, without adhesion promoter applied to the edges, it will eventually start peeling.

Need to replace my right side mirror. How easy is it to get the door panels of an bring them back in? Is that something anyone can do or is there something one needs to be aware of? I'm afraid of breaking the clamps in the process

Super easy. Just remove the two T30’s in the door handle, use a pry tool line I showed, lift the door panel up over the window seat and door lock, disconnect all of the connectors, and it comes right off: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZnqrhKSNfZySodksi=SyR4DUnr0X12EW1f
