In this video, I have made a simple transformerless power supply on a breadboard using some basic electronics components. This DC power supply can be used to supply small 5V electronics gadgets like LED, 5V LCD, small DC motors etc.
I have also explained the working principle of the transformerless power supply circuit.

Components Required for the 5v dc power supply circuit:
1. 0.47uF 400V AC Capacitor 1no
2. 420K ohm resistor 1no
3. Diode (1N4007) 4no
5. 470uF Capacitor 1no
6. Zener Diode 5V 1no
7. Connecting wires
8. Breadboard
In this video, I have shown how to convert 230 volt AC to 5 volt DC using this power supply. While making the bridge rectifier circuit I have explained how to place the diodes on the breadboard.
In the end, I have discussed the working of transformer less power supply so that you can modify the circuit according to the requirement.
