Hello all! It's Sean here. This episode is a love letter to transgender, gender-nonconforming and queer people everywhere. It was so life-affirming to collaborate on this episode: people, place and purpose came together in an incredibly loving way. At each location, we talked about our Transcestors and LGBTQI+ ancestors - those people whose lives, art and activism literally made our lives possible today. At this terrifying moment in America when trans communities are under horrific and escalating attacks (especially at the intersections of white supremacy/ableism/transphobia/queerphobia/misogyny), this episode declares the Truth: trans and queer people are wise, powerful, beautiful and innovative artists, healers and leaders. To my beloved trans, gender-nonconforming and queer siblings: you are worthy of love, hope, joy, freedom, healing and liberation. Joy is your birthright. Love is your birthright. Dreaming is your birthright. Liberation is your birthright. And because we cannot build the liberated Futures we dream of unless we imagine them first, this is my invitation to you: to name the glorious, expansive Future you want ... and for us to build that Future together. LOVE! Sean

You’re nothing but a HOP

You actually hate women and hate other trans men so bad that you block them for standing by women and lesbians. You’re a homophobic misogynist clear as day.

Love this video. Sean is a hero. An incredible activist and one of my favorite choreographers. Director Kelly Whalen and crew did a great job with the story and the dance video. The “Lost Art of Dreaming” is a brilliant, new work shot in some of the SF Bay Area's most photgenic locales. I watched this piece twice tonight and my heart is full and I'm recharged for the fight for freedom. We deserve liberty and justice for ALL. We're dreaming the change and then we're forging the change.

2tedro, thank you for sharing and may we all feel so recharged. Also shouting out dance film director Lindsay Gauthier who directed this wonderful episode in deep collaboration with Sean Dorsey and the If Cities Could Dance KQED staff team.

Sean Dorsey is an insanely misogynistic woman and a homophobe for pushing this agenda. She doesn’t respect women or their spaces - and she doesn’t respect fellow trans men at all. She leaves them to die and is deluded by her so called claim to fake fame of being the first openly trans dancer yet women in that industry have to scramble desperately for the position of a professional dancer… she has claimed herself to be - A TRA - a trans rights activist which is allowing the genocide of women and girls - along with their entire safety. You literally harm your own sex class while putting people with a p e Ñ is on a pedestal.. typical HOP.

I'm trans and honestly wish to learn industrialist dance. Unfortunately not much of a chance where I am even with acceptance. Our city lost festivity activity and culture. I probably wouldn't dress like them inn this video.

San Francisco was a stepping stone for me. I didn't like the drug addicts. Everything in the city is over priced. The weather was always horrible. Far too many homeless people. Now tons of people are breaking into cars. Skip
