@@cosimoto8700 so, the first question in particular comes to every girl's mind in India (I'm pretty sure ). But, this could be weak laws and then an even weaker enforcement system. Then, it could be the lack of proper education. It could also be a side effect of watching porn, by that I mean the way "hot/beautiful" women are sexualized, to be clear, promoting the thinking of "she's dressed like that so she's asking for it". The last reason could be simply the lack of respect that they have because at the end of the day, they're Indian men. But, I'd also say that a lot of Indian guys can also be found to be very well behaved and respectful. It's just that they either go abroad or go unnoticed, blame the population. Maybe I'm making a point here.... Sorry for such a long message.

I was swarmed by men wanting “just one picture” at the Indian Pakistani border ceremony, was an awful experience but I made it out safely, my husband is Indian and so he is so ashamed whenever this happens to me.
