Thanks again for sharing your bike George! I love watching all you guys racing the coaster brake challenge. We had a gravel racing class for awhile called "Crazy Coasters" here in Wichita, Kansas. It was intended for entry level racers or experienced racers tired of the high cost of top gravel bikes. We had a 1000 dollar claiming rule. After a race if you thought the winners bike cost more than 1000 you could claim it. It was a lot of fun and went on for 3 or 4 years. I got the idea from watching the movie Breaking Away and the Little 500. All of the Little 500 bikes are coaster braked. Makes for some great racing! Good luck on the last race. Cheers!

Yes, this I am sure would add up to over $1000 once you include labor-hours spent putting it together. My first CB racer was just an off-the-floor Linus townie with swapped tires and flat bars and it was pretty damn good, too!

@@GeorgeWhittam I'm building up a Proper Engineering MC5. It's gonna be good but it won't be cheap. That's ok. I'll ride the wheels off of it and enjoy every moment! Klunk On!

Damn that thing is all business!! And purple!! Those cranks are dope, almost snagged a set from brw when I was building up my stumpjumper. But they were 175mm which is too long for my stubby legs!

Thanks, Jeremy! They may be retired after this series as I am paranoid about everyone telling me they are going to break.

Join your local bike co-op where this problem is in your face every time you walk in the door for a shift. You eventually work through it...

Can you tell me more about that washer next to the brake arm and where I might find one? Thx!
