4 months in now. I think I could embrace it better if it wasn't coming out so much from illness and hormones. I think it would be easier if it was thicker like these in the video!

I have dark brown hair almost black I am tired of dying my roots every two weeks. Question is Do you HAVE to grow the white out for months and months before having the hair stylist dye to a natural grey colour? I do not want to walk around for a year looking like a rabid skunk....

It takes around 3-4 months ti grow roots a bit to be processed for the chemical treatment. It gives an idea to the dresser to know the pattern of your natural hair colour to get it blend. You may consult your hairdresser for more details.

@@nicolejclarke I'm 4 mnths In and it isn't easy. It's winter so I wear hats alot. There is a technique where you dye only a section on the top of your head so that it falls on the rest hiding the grey underneath. I personally am opting to have a hairdresser dye the rest grey for me, as soon as they open up again I'm booked in for what will be my last dye job.
