I mean this in the least offensive way possible, but get out of the commentary community. trust me, nothing good will come out of making these videos, especially when you´re still a kid. I watched your video revisiting your old OCs, and it was a very entertaining, well put together video! This, on the other hand, is very poorly done. Commentary is definitely not your strong suit, and you´re going to come out of this experience worse off than before. That´s just what the cynical pit of commentary does to people. In terms of flaws with the video; -You spend quite a while ranting over one statement, the whole tangent about happy tree friends could have been heavily shortened. -On the topic of that tangent, no, actually, Sensitive society´s joke would count as dark humor. Trans people may not be a taboo subject, but making fun of them certainly is. -You flatout state in the video that you know gender is a social construct, so I ask you this. If you know gender is completely made up, and in the end means nothing, why treat it as though it´s important? All the concept of gender does is cause arguments and divide us further. The more people complain about others getting their pronouns wrong, the more I shudder. The more people equate their entire personalities to meaningless labels, I die a little inside. I´ll just come out and say it, I hate gender, I hate pronouns, and I hate all the garbage they brought upon this world. Sorry, that got kinda personal. -Edit: forgot this one, but you also complain about how sensitive society´s joke was ¨discrimination¨ yet make jokes utilizing harmful steryotypes about middle aged white women. I´m not saying you´re in the wrong for making those jokes, but keep your standards consistent. Both you and sensitive society made edgy jokes about certain groups of people. As far as I´m concerned, you´re even in that regard. I would list more, but this video was actually hard to sit though. Your non commentary videos are great, and I enjoy watching them, but this one was actively frustrating. I highly recommend leaving commentary behind, you´ll be better off for it.

I´ve asked many people, looked at many videos about gender, and I´ve never gotten a proper answer. Why do we humans keep the concept of gender around when it brings no benefit, and in fact, only serves to put up more barriers and pit people against eachother? What do we gain by pretending these meaningless labels matter? What sucks about having these views on gender is that I want to be proven wrong. I want someone to open my eyes. I know my method of thinking must be wrong, because I see almost nobody else thinking this way. I know I have to be wrong somehow, but no matter how I look at it, I can´t figure out why, so please, just tell me why gender matters. I genuinely want to know.

Something being a social construct doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be a thing nessessrily. Money is a social concept, time is a social concept, etc Also BECAUSE of gender people deal with gender dysphoria when being referred to as a different gender or their sex not matching up with their gender, so you should call them by the right gender and pronouns ALSO pronouns are a part of the English language, you can’t just “stop pronouns from existing” unless you want to heavily alter the English language

Money is a currency almost all of us use, and time helps us keep track of our schedules. What has gender ever done for us? The thing is, I didn´t say I wanted to stop pronouns from existing, my problem was just how much people seem to care about them. At the end of the day, these are words that mean nothing, and yet there are people who equate huge aspects of their lives to these meaningless labels. People regularly fight over these meaningless labels, and what labels are okay to use, and i just have to ask the simple question, what are we gaining out of this? What has the point of all this been? Why do we have to care?
