Welcome to the channel and I'm glad you found the video to be helpful 😀 The hose is 5/16 or 3/8 if I remember correctly. I've used that setup on Chevy and some subarus also.

Very good and informative video. The hardest part of any job I haven't done yet is how to go about getting started. Your step by step instructions along with the good video shots sure makes it an easy to do job. Have you ever put a magnetic inline fluid filter coming from the cooler on your cars?

2000 V6 Camry having problem removing the pan with mallet and pry bar. It is on tight! Didn't have that problem with the 2014 V6 Camry except that one trans oil pan bolt.

Hi Jeff, welcome to the channel and I'm glad you found the video helpful. The fluid type is dex merc III for both the trans and the diff. As for quantity, I'm not to sure since I was pumping the old fluid out but I believe I had 3 gallons on hand and you fill the diff until it drains out the fill hole

My Camry has 205k on the car. I bought it with 180 and did not get any service records on the transmission fluid ever been changed. I want to drop the pan because it is leaking on my driveway and replace what is needed to top off. Right now the transmission is over filled according to the dip stick. Thank you very much. David

@@teeestime6202 Hey would you suggest getting a flush or doing it myself with this many miles 205k? Or just drop pan, replace filter and gasket and top off. I just hope the bolts don't snap off. I bought a kit of sockets that grab rusted and rounded off bolts and nuts in case. I guess warm up engine first and spray PB Blaster around the bolts wouldn't hurt. Your opinion??? Thank you

@@teeestime6202 Yes very good. Dextron III use or I put dextron II in one quart one time. Trans was slipping and not showing any on dip stick. Strange for sure.

@@davea5150 I wouldn't do a chemical flush, the most I would is what was seen in the video.. Drain warm will get a better drain but since your dropping the pan anyway shouldn't matter to much. Just don't burn yourself and clean the pan and make sure to put the magnet back in the pan.
