Not every young AFAB person with a vagina can menstruate and not every young AMAB person can create life. The world just doesn’t work that way. I am afab, but I need the pill. My body literally wasn’t and isn’t doing afab things. Even with all these different medications I take, my body keeps producing too much testosterone. Even before I realized I identified more with being a man, I was growing a beard and extra thick body hair way back in high school. Not every person falls neatly into male or female.
