Chad, I want to say that I am very pleased with your interaction and the energy shown with your new apprentice. I have spoken with many apprentices down through the years, who worked for people and businesses, with no opportunity to advance either knowledge or experience. I was one of the fortunate ones who had a great mentor and boss, who wanted me to learn. Like you, he explained what needed to be done, oversaw the work, and taught good methods as well as reasons for what I was doing! I LIKE YOUR STYLE!

Wish i had somebody like you to teach me what you're showing the young lad. My dad was a boiler maker, fitter by trade, and i was never allowed in his shop. I'm 63yrs old now and after watching your fri videos i bought myself a welder and watched you then mimmicked them myself. After blowing a lot of holes through and all that sort of stuff ,I've now nailed on 2 qtr panels, several rust repairs . 2yrs and I'm almost ready for primer,so thanks heaps👍👍

Hi Jolene. We watch the videos every day and love it. If I could make a suggestion for the mic to make for a better experience... Get a receiver that has a Headphone Output for Monitoring. This allows you to to wear a pair of headphones and can hear everything coming through the receiver when recording. It will eliminate the need for you to do mic checks as you'll be able to hear if the sound cuts out on the active mics. This has saved my butt on more than one occasion. Keep up the amazing work. We restore old gas pumps and soda machines from the 20s-50s. We have the same passion as Chad for all things vintage. Cheers from Rustoration Inc in Washington State.
