There are a few excellent station mods for Transport Fever 2. These adjust stations like bus stop and truck stop but also provide new train stations. And they look really really good.

Nice of you to show two of my mods in this video (Slim Bus/Truck Zones and the boxcar assets). For the Bus/Truck zones, I highly recommend people read the mod description and look at the images that show how to lay the road for best results.

Great mods. I do love the NL station mod and the roof mod. it just needs to add a flat or Rotterdam style Traingular section. Many UK stations also have over passes, so those would be good for the UK too. And the freight station, at last a little love for the cargo stops... hurrah.

I would love if there were a working freight classification yard and system for changing which consists a train is pulling. Would make hauling freight so much more efficient

There's also another variant of that UK Generic Station mod, with normal-width platforms, UK-style platform roofs, and I think a slightly modified set of station buildings, and it all matches the stuff in the one you showed. If you wanted to do a four track rural station you could presumably use the wider platform from that mod in the center and then the narrow ones on the sides.

If you want a cargo station to use more space then just the assigned platform try the "Enhanced train station cargo capacity" mod.

I would like to see a mod with multipurpose rail cars so that you can transport all kinds of cargo with a single train. Maybe make it super expensive to balance it or something, I just really want to cover everything with a single line or a couple of lines

I love these types of videos, I'm adding a lot of these mods to my own gameplay based on your videos so thanks Stealth! Not sure if I'm just dumb and missing something but all of "Asset Mods" you linked point to the same 'Freight Yard Framework' mod. Also, one I'd suggest looking at is the "Enhanced train station cargo capacity mod" - to me the train stations have far too little cargo capability per platform so this fixes that problem. I have all these and more, love customising to make the world look less uniform and more "realistic". I do not know why UG do not make all the assets available as standard instead of having to resort to mods.

Sloped train station with walls and posts that are leaning to the side... hope urban games makes them vanilla and fixes that!

Sloped stations are bad, they are even forbidden in germany if the slope is greater than 4% because of security concerns

Beside the visual, the first one doesn't seem any different than the standard bus lines. Trucks use them to.

It's just a reskin of the bus lanes. That's why trucks can use them too.

True, part of the Slim Bus/Truck Zones mod is visual with the markings, but functionally they add an extra lane for traffic to pass. In the same form factor as a medium or large street, an extra lane is added so the bus or truck can pull out of traffic to make it's drop off or pickup.

It's a remodeled bus lane, yes. I highlighted it to show off the bus stop zones that it adds, relative to the base game.

Does not make the game more interesting. In fact withoput those mods this game is just most boring, with horrible, nearly not existing Gameplay. in fact you sit and watch stupid AI controlled vehicles Jumping around.. no, not worth it
