Transport Fever 2 | East Yorkshire | Episode 1 | Here We Go Again!

Hello and welcome back to Transport Fever 2!
Well after the disastrous end to the Cross Continental America series due to a fault with Windows 11, we're looking for something new to focus our efforts on. It was made quite clear by many people that they'd like to see another UK series, so after some perusing on the Steam Workshop I came across this little gem.
This map is fairly small, and is based in the region of East Yorkshire, England. It has quite a few towns and cities, with a nice array of industry to help us build a really good railway network. We're going to be semi realistic, making use of the real world railways as well as fictional "what if" routes!

I been down to York it’s a nice place the station has a Burger King in it I saw a HST which I’ve not seen in I’ve a year :p I recommend going there

There did used to be a rail line from York to Hull via places like Pocklington and Market Weighton in history; however, this hasn't existed since the 60s (so my research says)

Hull did have a local line as well that lead into Withernsea until the Beeching Cut.

1:27 i do agree Not to name names(game over gaming cough cough) it does anoy me seing someone build something good looking and then faffing it by having only 1 junction on the whole line and running 165+143s on it in GWR+Northern or smth idk Also taking the low hanging fruit: why you record on 10quid 80 pence? Like trough the reflection?

Awww in my home county 😊 i was born in hull but moved out to Beverley a few years ago now! The east riding is a lovely place! Very scenic 😊 will be nice in time to see some stagecoach and EY buses pootling about 🚌 🚎 Also do you have the realistic passengers mod for buses etc, it puts realistic seating capacities on the vehicles?

I started this map and found it quite difficult to grow and expand the company. I started with grain near Selby and a bus/tram network connecting the near towns.

Joe, you can go through the different speed settings with the tab key, and iirc you use space to toggle between your current speed setting and paused

The line that you've got the map of isn't big enough to let the place where I live along the line to Hull Not there even though it's the Junction to the lines that take you to Doncaster and York.
