The light-green and cream tram cars coming out of the tram depot at 14:43 is the world famous W-Class trams from Melbourne, Australia. Home to the largest tram network in the world. The W-Class trams are a family of electric tram cars built by the Melbourne and Metropolitan Tramways Board (MMTB) between 1923 and 1956. During its 33 years of production, 752 vehicles spanning 12 sub-classes were constructed. Due to its historic significant and being an icon of Melbourne (like the Routmaster bus was to London), the W-Class tram has been preserved. Many of them operates on tourist and heritage systems across the world. A number of older variants have been withdrawn from service and later sent to cities such as Copenhagen, San Francisco, Savannah and Seattle, and by private enthusiasts. Today, only 11 W-Class tram cars of the W8 variant operates in Melbourne on the City Circle route.

A Tip for future upgrades use the Tools when you have problem with electric or trams on roads Press 1 on your keyboard and in the meny you see a heading called tools it is better than the one u are using where u upgrade the roads. And if you choose a road that is not the same with you can lose the connection to a industri. So I always use tools when upgrading in railroads also So I don't suddenly set high speed track where I have earlier set 30 km tracks.

the w class uses a trolley pole, as they put them in at first as it is most likely cheaper than pantographs, nowadays though with the ones that they use on the city circle tourist tram does have pantographs, also you haven't used it yet. Also with the big intercity circle there is only one direction it can go so I would say add the other way as more people will want to take the tram.

Hi mate, excuse my lack of knowledge but what is a trolley pole? I haven't heard of that before :) Also the big intercity route (if you means the south one that goes through Canterbury) was only put in 1 way due to the anti-clockwise route being for the freight route between the same towns. Maybe I could re-visit that as they could pass each other at stops/stations :)

did you know that the German town of Dresden used trams to drop off good to up until 2020, if memory is correct it was for a car factory.

I completely agree mate, especially if it’s a town that already has tram tracks used for passenger trams. Cargo deliveries would just make sense right?

It's a Funicular railway got them in Hastings and Cornwall I think so not technically a tram :-( would look cool though if there is a mod

I’ve just had a look at this on google, that does look like a Funicular but is a Tram. Hmmm… does this give us the free pass to use one? :) Do we have somewhere with a steep enough incline to use it?
