Transport Fever 2: Metropolitan Line Uxbridge to Harrow

In a previous video, we went from Harrow on the Hill to Uxbridge. Here is the return journey, as part of my series of recreations of the modern Metropolitan Line on a 1:1 scale made with Transport Fever 2.
There are many excellent cab-view videos of the real thing and other games have done it, notably Train Simulator. This layout has been made just for fun and to see how far TF2 (and nearly 200 mods) can be pushed.

Important - Limitations of this medium

I can only use the assets (houses, stations, rails, scenery etc.) available either in the base game or generously made available by modders. The London Underground uses fourth rail electrification, with two driving tracks and two electric. The closest I can get is by using a third rail mod. Equally there is poor support in the game for stations with entrances above or below the platforms, but this is the way most real-life suburban stations are built. There is only limited support for LU signage
To build the suburbs of the UK needs a huge amount of varied housing, shops, offices and public buildings. We have some in the game but nowhere near enough. Putting them in one a time is tedious but there is no alternative. So I have concentrated on the streets around the stations and tracks, and left open spaces elsewhere.
Some assets, like fences and doors, flicker. This may caused by problems with TF2 or perhaps my video card is not up to the job. Sorry.

Awesome trip down memory lane … maybe if you are doing Uxbridge branch in 1910, it would be great to see the old station in what’s now the Sainsbury car park …

That is one of the reasons I want to do it, as well as the other stations that were in Uxbridge. I've already done Harrow to Ruislip and it's looking ok.

And having completed the journey I would just observe that you might want to check your third-rails comming out of Rayners Lane and in the Ruislip siding. Apart from that, thank you for a very pleasant ride.

Hey, I know a mod that can help your stations become more realistic, its called the "freestyle station" mod. It allows you to curve platforms at any angle that is allowed. If you didn't have it then it would be a good tool on making lines. Also I have a suggestion, can you do the Jubilee line Stanmore - Wembley Park? It would be very nice. Edit: wrong word Edit again: incase you don't know the stations inbetween them they are Stanmore, Canons Park, Queensbury,Kingsbury and finally Wemblep Park, you could extend the route to Neasden depot, Willesden green siding, West Hampstead siding (ps after neasden there is Dollis Hill and before West Hampstead is Kilburn it even joins up with the Met Line up until Finchley Road and then they meet up again at Baker Street on separate sections). If you want to make it longer then maybe you could extend it to Green Park or even Charring Cross (now known as Embankment).

I know that mod well but I don't like the look of the platforms that it creates. As to the Jubilee, am very familiar with it - I lived near Preston Road as a child. Not sure about doing it though.

I have been asked this before; problem is that I had made changes to some of the mods and I am not sure what would happen if anyone else tried to load it.
