Welcome back to the second episode guys! Thanks for making your way back on over! So for those of you wondering, yes we do definitely become quite profitable quite quickly! I start us off with a mini timelapse just to get us into the green.
Once we are profitable we can start comfortably taking out some more loans and we can try to grow the Empire even more.
We're going to be adding some new towns to the network and we introduce shipping!

It just clicked about taking goods “both ways”. I was wondering for example what the difference was if you went oil pump to refinery then brought fuel back to oil pump station for trucks to bring it to town because you only make money one way. This was true in transport tycoon, but here you do make money. Not sure if there has to be another line to keep it going towards the destination (I have always had one) but either way it makes sense since even if you are dropping off cargo to a station that does not have an industry to demand it you still get paid for having brought it that far. This realization was seriously a game changer!

while laying track or road, you can alter the height with N and M, saving a lot of money!

I knew there was a way to automatically upgrade vehicles but I could not find the info anywhere. Thank you for bringing it up. I have a good idea of how the game works so what really helps are the little tips that aren't in the tutorial.

I want to see more because. 1. You did a a lot of work within a small amount of time so your efficient 2. You do research before you start allowing you to be efficient (or you just play alot of it off camera.) Which im fine with because the more you know the more you can teach. There are three people I want to slap because they are doing series like these so inefficiently. I might just be bothered easily but anyways keep up the good work. (I just like to see people who know what they are doing and are able to have fun playing the game because they don't half to play 20 questions.)

Honestly thank you so much for the comment :) I think you and I look for the same thing in KZbin videos, I actually migrated this channel towards gaming content because I was tired of seeing people getting early copies of games and not really taking the time to learn how to play or they just facepalm for 30 mins..

Exactly my point. I want to start a KZbin channel but sadly my Q8300 is told old for any game. And the Q35 video adapter is worse. Only thing i can play relativity well is rim world.

good series but bit fast; I am impressed by the way you set up complex signals apparently without making any mistakes. although I have watched and read MANY explanations on how to do it, I always end up with blocked trains, even with only two trains on one track. btw there is a pretty good WIKI that serves as a manual.

At first the train signals were confusing as shit..but now i understand them better! In Train Fever, the main problem i had with them is figuring out what signal goes where...especially when it comes to large stations..Care to explain how to do it?

Great video, is there anyway to add carriages to existing trains? If I add another train the line just slows to a crawl.

+Ben Rogers thanks :) You'll need to send the train back to a garage and then just purchase some new cars - you'll need to use those arrow dealios to move the cars onto your train. You'll know what I mean :) I'll try to include the process in the next video!

Hey sorry Bob! Depends on the year that you're starting - you can borrow much more as time progresses (1850 vs 1900 for example) In this partiular series I start in 1900 which allows me to borrow up to 10 million I believe. If I were starting in 1850 I think I can borrow only up to 2 million, which isn't that much lower all things considering becasue the cost of items is a lot less in 1850.. Anyhow, I tend to borrow the absolute maximum when I get myself up and running. Really doesn't matter what year it is that I'm starting. The key is to just get a positive cashflow as quickly as possible :) Hope this sorta helps.

Yes sir :) The loans come with interest too - so you'll want to start paying them back when you become cash positive. The interest rate isn't too bad on Easy, but on Medium and Hard it really adds up!

+Harm Addink I've seen a few posts online about that happening. Does it happen on all sizes of maps? I'd try turning down shadows or something intensive in the graphics settings to free up some resources to see if that helps :)

Much much better than FAILURE and nearly as good as Sky.I have spent 25 hours so far but I keep messing up with the costs. How much should I borrow to start with?? Not sure what you did on video one but you must have borrowed a large sum.
