Transportation Management Fuel Surcharges and Accessorial Charges

Today we take a look at how to setup the accessorial charges for a shipping carrier in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. The accessorial charges are the miscellaneous charges that a transportation company might charge when they pick up or deliver freight. These charges also include the fuel surcharges.

Hi! This is so helpful! just wanted to ask, for accessorial charges, if you add it to accessorial assignment level of Shipment with Flat fee type, will the accessorial charge be added per load, or per shipment on load? So if i have two shipments per load, will it add the charge twice?

You'd want to test this to verify, but I think everything is by shipment. In your example I would expect that there would be two charges.
