The exercise videos for low back pain were created by the Canadian Chiropractic Guideline Initiative (CCGI) and are based on the latest clinical practice guidelines (2017). Exercises conceptualized & demonstrated by: Nadia Richer, Caroline Poulin (professors, UQTR); Narration : André Bussières (CCGI Project Lead); Production and editing: Peggy Béland, Rolland Sasseville (Information Technology Services, UQTR)

great video, thank you alot. It helped me how to activate the transversus und removed some posture imbalances right away - try doing it daily now :-)

try hollow holds too, great isometric hold.

I dont get the unit of lenght you use - " soundries" ??? when you explain where to move fingers.

You learn the muscle to work in movements. Like walking etc.

Leg movement is directed much by the psoas. And the psoas works with the transverse abdominis

Damn, is it possible to find an exercise that actually work hard on this muscle instead of these things for grandma's?! I'm going from video to video without finding anything for sportmen

If you can do this exercise standing and can talk while holding the contraction, I would say you're pretty solid at it. If you want additional information, check out how to progress toward a vacuum hold for body building. Pretty much the same idea, but more extreme.

try vaccum hold, and hollow holds for 30-40 seconds.
