honestly, i hate it when people comment that its like New Americana or that Transviolet is the next Lorde or whatever. they didn't copy anyone. they worked pretty damn hard to get where they are, and theyre continuing to work hard. i dont want to compare them to anyone because no one is ever really happy with comparisons, and I'm happy to just being able to listen to their music and see them in concerts.

people compare artists so that other people can also go check out those artists and expand their music. They don't always do it for the sake of comparing. Plus a lot of people compare New Bohemia and New Americana because they are both amazing songs written by amazing artists. But I understand where you're coming from. +Shaddic D It's funny because Halsey AND TRANSVIOLET sound COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! the sound, the lyrics, all different all different meaning! It's not about the artist being the same or different. Transviolet actually expresses integrity and love in a voice/accent that is much different from halsey's. Halsey is my number one love, just both artist come from different backgrounds, and sound nothing the same. They are both unique in their own special way! New American is about diversity, because Halsey is from a mixed family race. Halsey's mom is white and Dad is black. Most of Halsey's songs are about her and her life; what she went through.. Where as New Bohemia is about changing the world for the better; getting rid of stereo types....
