@@goncalocantante You'd be surprised, 20 to 12 is like 11 to 10. Little changed visually and in the workflow, but a lot of performance tweaks and stuff has been added. Also a surprising amount of sleek new graphics if you're into that kinda thing, but I think we're both men of functionality over beauty, haha

i really like how you get not only a software but also these free lessons! totally worth the money :) just purchased Reason and started exploring it :) music making was my hobby years ago when youtube did not exist and i had to learn all by myself. i turned out to be able to write a song but mixing skills were absolute zero.

Best tutorial I've seen. I like how in-depth it is and added some theories as well for people who have music theory knowledge. Trying to get into trap and a lot of tutorials are just teenagers telling you do this and that instead of explaining why is it like that and how does it work.

Here's a tip: with the pointer tool, control+shift+drag(PC) or command+shift+drag(Mac) lets you draw velocities to just the selected notes, keeping, for example, the hats at default velocity while doing a snare ramp. Hopefully it's useful to someone. I had to find it in the manual ;).
