Fun fact: Haikyuu means volleyball in Japanese, so when Lupa said he has “high volleyball haikyuu” he basically said he has high volleyball volleyball xD

Technically a more everyday way to write and speak Volleyball in japanese would be in Hiragana, a phonetic way of speaking and writing foreign words and names. It would sound similar to the English word of Volleyball. Haikyuu is the Kanji word for volleyball, it's a more fun and interesting method, but not common.
