Exactly. These were gang dudes who were motivated to do the hit for the street cred as Duck was a prize target. That's why the feds didn't pursue any angle about street bounties as a motivation since the hit was very clearly an impulsive crime of opportunity without any thought of consequences or planning. Like you said, they got the location and scrambled toward downtown as also seen on the video. This wasn't some premeditated contract hit considering they spectacularly crashed out for the feds to come in and snatch them for a slam dunk life without parole. It had nothing to do with Von or any $100k reward. Duck even said in interviews that he thinks about getting killed every single day "because I'm a very disrespectful person." To these O Block dudes, he was a bully when they were growing up who ended up being the rival gang leader next door.
