Trap in theaters only nationwide in the US on August 2, 2024 and internationally beginning on July 31.

Because him being the killer is probably shown in the first 10 mins or so. It would be hard to sell the movie, with just the first 10 minutes used as marketing material, you need something to hook the audience with. And this actually hooks you.

Ok, I'm going with, he gets out of the concert easily in the first 20min of the film. The rest is him back home with his victim, His daughter discovers his secret due his current overconfidence after escaping. The victim then defeats him and survives. As the audience is lead to believe he/the killer is unstoppable at the concert, it's a twist.
