Another great episode! It’s interesting how different the older guys are than the younger generation. We harp on the details so much. What chokes, hold points, POI, driving through the targets. But guys like Britt are like Full choke, see the bird, break the bird. You either want it or you don’t. Keep it simple. You could tell how much he loves sharing his old story’s. Great episode guys.

Watching Britt shoot doubles at the Grand back in the early 70's as a Remington man was a treat and a mind-bender!

I don't know who thought up doing the trap talk podcast. Ricky or Zach, but I look forward to every Friday show. Great show 👏

That was my favorite video of yours. Lots of great information. I have the pleasure of shooting with Roy Tiegs at summner sportsman club. His 93rd birthday is coming up and he is in the trap shooters Hall of fame. Nicest guy you can ever meet. My son just recently started shooting a K32 and Roy has been giving him pointers. He was a natural shooter but Roy has made him better. Thank you for have a senior master on the show!

Wow! Great episode guys! I remember watching Britt shoot in the 70’s in Phoenix when I was a junior shooter. He was my trapshooting idol. Him saying smooth is faster than quick reminded me of Ricky saying those exact words to me when I had my lesson last January in Tucson. Can’t thank you guys enough for bringing the greats on your show and asking great questions to squeeze out specific answers that are so helpful to us striving to be better.

What a treat this interview with a legand was. A friend that got me shooting again (45 years after my last registered targets were in 1975) brought this interview to my attention. I've spoken to him about the guys back in the 60's and 70's and of course Britt was in the "front row" of talent. It's unfortunate that you couldn't have had some pic of Britt in his prime. He was a handsome dude in his jeans, underslung cowboy boots and a felt hat. My wife, and a buddy's wife, would carry on about him endlessly it seemed. It was likely in '74 or '75 at Vandalia when I was watching a squad with; Britt, Larry Gravestock, Dan Orlich, a Federal Rep who's name I don't recall, and some bearded guy I didn't know either. I was troubled that I didn't know the guy. It was my introduction to Dan Bonillas! I love the history of the sport and thank you for sharing Britt with modern day shooters. Back then we didn't have clinicians, adjustable combs, adjustable chokes, cameras and endless accessories. We were all shooting Model 31s, Model 12s, Broadways. Perazzi's were pretty new back then. The sport has obviously come a long way. BTW, it so happens that this Saturday I will be attending Ricky's clinic in Montana. He's got his work cut out trying to get me a bit closer to what I used to be. Again, well done. Guys.
