I think that Louis, the boy (player) is dreaming, not actually kidnapped. The house seems to be the children's family house, based on the letters around the house, the toys, the name plaques on the doors (Lucy's room). And Lucy isn't really there. And the monster is actually the mum (notice the feminine crying at the end), since the became abusive towards Louis.
