I don't know why KZbin recommended this to me, but I NEED more! I hope you keep making commentary like this because it was really engaging to see how all of this was playing out turn by turn. Did the Germany player give you their transcripts afterward so you could see their perspective?
@floridamandiplomacy2 жыл бұрын
I'm glad KZbin finally took the bribe money... I mean, I'm glad you stumbled across my channel by chance, good sir. And I'm set to finally achieve a big goal I've had by reaching 1,000 subscribers, so I definitely see no reason to stop! The German player did write up the transcripts. I wanted to have him read them himself, but usually people prefer to have me narrate instead.

I recommend going to PlayDiplomacy.com, and checking out the forums for advice . Once you feel you have sufficient knowledge for your liking, you join a new game that's starting. Alternatively, you can join a mentor game where people play with some guidance from a more experienced person.

The Russian player is a very difficult opponent. She gets me more often than not, in the sense that I find it difficult to persuade people to work against her when I'm not aligned with her, and when I do work with her, I end up cornered in this way. I might need mind control powers... O_o

There are also some great ongoing leagues and tournaments. I stsrted playing one game with frienda and then jumping in to thoes. You get your teeth kicked in but you learn so much by playing with people who are excelent players. - also if you liked this video I absolutly recomend Floridamans Talyrand series. It has some relativly new players in it and goes through each powers perspective. Really gives you a sence of what is being said and beleived.

I really enjoyed hearing the game told from multiple perspectives! One thing I would suggest improving on is audio quality. The background noise isn't jarring or distracting, but I think dealing with it could really help the videos.

I think you were screwed as soon as the Germany player decided they were going to accept 3rd place in a 3-way "tie" Yeesh. Seriously, his comment about you having a "tight 5-centre setup" or w/e is just baffling.
