Trapper J I recently started snaring rabbits behind my house I live in a high mountain desert with mostly scrub oak. First couple days I got 3 - 5 rabbits the last few days all of my catches have gotten eaten. I not sure what to do as we have dogs in the area from the farmers and I don't want to catch them any suggestions on how to keep my catches and possibly thin the coyote population

With low fur prices it’s a good time to get stuff tanned and line the walls I do have some people that want the coyotes to eat also

Watch the fur buyer the other night. Yodle dogs that are good bringing $3 skinned hurts the ol' feelings. Beaver though were bringing good $

That black striped fur pattern is a premium pelt! Do you do any of your own tanning of pelts that are above average? Lot more money in a tanned pelt. I tan the few I shoot each year, have locals on a waiting list that want them!
